What does 'Team Approach' mean?
We believe that clients benefit most when their body gets to experience different forms of massage, as well as different assessments as to what's going on. Each therapist approaches their work uniquely- allowing more than one therapist to work on you gives us the chance to see what best helps you reach your goals. Also, when multiple therapists provide treatment, our team can work together in determining continuing care.
How do I know which Therapist to schedule with?
All of our therapists present with different skills and massage 'tools'. Taking the time to read their biographies can help narrow what you are looking for. You can also call us- we're experts in how each of us work!
What if I just want a massage like I might get at a spa?
We can certainly provide you with a full-body Swedish Massage when you are doing a Wellness Massage. That said, our therapists are geared towards working on specific, goal-oriented areas. We'd recommend scheduling at least an hour and a half if you would like a full body Swedish Treatment. You may also like our Hot-Stone Specialty Service.
Why does a parent need to sign for someone under the age of 18?
We are lucky enough in Washington that Massage is recognized as healthcare. Following the laws around parental consent, massage is categorized as 'non-emergency healthcare'- thus requiring parental consent until the age of 18.
